Venue : Loreto School Library Hall
Objective : To chart out a list of Fund raising Programs for the Upcoming Centenary Celebrations of the School.
Total No. of Participants : 12 participants including Sr Celine
- The meeting started with an introduction of the members present.
- The Minutes of the Last meeting was read . As most of the new office bearers have not responded to their nominations , it was decided the finalisation of names for the office of LAAS for those members would be kept in abeyance for a month till the next meeting.
- In line with the objective of the meeting as listed above , it was decided that ‘ A Christmas Hamper’ would be sponsored by the Alumnae members for the s chool children who would be distributed with Raffle sheets for collection.
- The members present felt that 2 major Hampers would be distributed to the highest collector of the Junior and Senior School respectively, however depending on the number of contributions drawn for the event , subsidiary Hamper gifts would also be distributed to other major collectors.
- It was decided that prior to the winter vacation of the school , the sheets would be distributed to the students from the 1st – 6th of Dec 2007, the draw and distribution of the Hampers would be held on the 7th of Dec.
- All alumnae members have been urged to generously contribute gifts for the Hamper in cash or kind before the 10th of Nov 2007 and submit them in the school to Sr Celine.
- § The Gifts could range from a variety of articles that the girls as per their age group would be fond of and that would attract and motivate them for the collection when the Hampers are ready and put for display.
- § Contributors in Cash could submit the money to Sr Celine , Principal Loreto Convent Shillong.
- Alumnae members are requested to seriously & generously go through the contributions and be present in the school on Saturday the 10th of Nov 07 at 2.30 PM for finalization & arranging of the gifts for the hamper prizes.
- The meeting was concluded with tea and light refreshment.
- Ms Jenny Nampui, President LAAS gave the Vote of Thanks , the 8th of Dec 2007 was announced as the next date of meeting in the School at 2.30 pm for charting out other course of action and discussion of relevant issues .
